Q1: How does it work?
A1: It uses a patented technology call Optical Screen Security System (OSSS) that generates a unique code in your Smartphone and pairs with the
sensors on the lock.
Q2: How is it different from other Smartlocks in the market?
A2: This is the only Smartlock that doesn't use Bluetooth, WiFi or NFC technology. We do not compromise on security since any protocol that is wireless is
subjected to hacking.
Q3: Where can I find the App?
A3: iTunes Store and GooglePlay store. Search for ‘gosh smartlock’.
Q4: Which version of OS does it work on?
A4: iOS 7.0 and above, and Android 4.0 and above
Q5: How do I program the code into the lock?
A5: Launch the App in your phone which you have downloaded. Go to ‘Setting’, Click on ‘Manual’ and follow the instructions. You need internet connection
to access the manual as it is linked to our website.

Q7: What happens if I lose my Smartphone?
A7: When you program the key code for the first time, you will be prompted to send a backup key to yourself. This backup key is sent to your OWN email
address as a backup copy of the code. Use any Smartphone, download the relevant App again, access your email via your Smartphone, click on the
attachment code, and the key is back into your Smartphone.
Q8: Does the lock come with physical keys?
A8: No.
Q9: How do I create Backup or Guest key?
A9: Launch the App, on the top right below the ‘Setting’ icon, there is a BLUE colored pen icon. Click on the pen. Select the key you want to create. The
email client launches with the coded key as an attachment. Complete the email address of the recipient/(s) and hit send.
Q10: What is the difference between Backup key and Guest key?
A10: Back up key is meant to be for yourself or family members that have unlimited and unconditional rules attached to the usage of the key. It does not need
any internet connection to operate. Guest Key is meant for one-time use with rules set when you are creating it. Set Start and Expiry date and time as
well as time zone of operation. Internet data access is required for Guest Key to be accessed to authenticate the time zone. You can also add unlimited
multiple rules. There is a buffer of 10mins for time expiry.
Q11: Can a key emailed to a recipient be forwarded out to any parties?
A11: Yes. Therefore, send keys ONLY to people you trust. IF there is any compromise you suspect, reset the lock and re-program again.
Q12: How is the lock powered?
A12: It requires 4 x AAA size batteries.
Q13: How long does the battery last?
A13: Usually about a year depending on usage.
Q14: How do we know if the battery power is low?
A14: The LED light will flash RED.
Q15: Will the code disappear if the Battery power died before replacing it?
A15: No. The code is stored permanently in the Flash memory.
Q16: What type of drawer does this SmartLock fit?
A16: Any drawer with a thickness between 16-25mm.
Q17: I set the timing to expire at 10am. Why it still works at 10.01am?
A17: There is a buffer of 10mins to render the key invalid. Therefore, the guest key will expire at 10.11am.
Q18: Will other users with the same product gain access to my Drawer Lock?
A18: No, the chances of the app generating the same code is 1 in 1.4 billion.
Q19: What is the lifespan of the Drawer Lock?
A19: The lock has a lifespan of 10,000 times usage.

Q19: I scanned the Door Lock but it did not work.
A19: You have to ‘Wake’ the door lock up by pressing the LED button on the front of the lock. The LED light will blink in Green and you proceed to scan the
lock.
Q20: How do I lock the door when I exit from the house?
A20: Press the LED light, the lock will slide out and lock the door.
Q21: What is the lifespan of the Door Lock?
A21: The lock has a lifespan of 10,000 times usage.
